La Carniceria Meat Market is a specialty food store in Fontana, California. It is listed at 9885 Sierra Ave. Ste 200, Fontana, CA 92335, which places it among the local businesses of Fontana that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Fontana with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach La Carniceria Meat Market at (909) 333-1321; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, lacarniceriameatmarket.com.

Have been looking for a good meat market, driving over half an hour. Finally tried this place here in the town I live in, Fontana. The service was very good, everyone was kind and helpful. The place is very very clean. I got carne asada which they marinade on the spot and seal up for you. This was by far, the best asada I’ve ever had. They use USDA prime, and for prime it’s actually a great price (I paid $16.99lb). They also had a great deal on chicken adobado so I got that too. The meat was so tender and juicy. My new go-to!!

The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because of the female manager, Kailey. Completely rude and aggressive for absolutely no reason. I walked in at 6:59 PM and she instantly started trying to kick me out, arguing it was already 7 PM instead of simply handling the situation professionally. Meanwhile, Kevin and Daniel were respectful, helpful, and actually know how to treat customers. Those guys deserve recognition. Honestly, I feel bad they have to work under someone with that kind of attitude. And Kailey… if you’re going to act like the store closes the second the clock hits 7, maybe lock the doors at 7 instead of taking it out on customers. Owner, if you're reading this, Kailey has terrible leadership skills and you should promote Kevin or Daniel. Thanks for the delicious meat even if I had to fight to get it. PS, she took a picture or video of me, ask Kevin he saw her do it. Please ask her to delete it. And owner if your want to see how rude she was acting in front of customers I have video evidence. I'll be more than happy to show you.

Kailey was so sweet I had such a wonderful experience today. She was incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only professional but also so kind and welcoming. She made my visit so much better with her positive attitude and excellent customer service. Truly appreciate people like her!

If I could give this carniceria a ZERO star review, I would. Not only were they inconsiderate of me as a customer. They’re extremely expensive. I went in rushing out of work. Bought some meat, I specifically told the person that helped me to marinate the meat, when I got home to get ready to cook. I noticed the meat was not marinated. I sent my daughter in to get a small amount of marinated juice as they’ve done it for me before. And was denied and was told That they were not losing their job by giving me a little bit of marinated juice when I had already clearly asked the guy when I was at the store to marinate my meat! Definitely won’t be coming here again..

I initially left a 4-star review, and I don't want to be that guy, but after my most recent visit, I feel compelled to update my feedback. Unfortunately, the customer service fell short, as the employee assisting me failed to acknowledge my specific requests. I fully understand that a busy meat market must balance quality with efficiency, and I recognize the pressure butchers face to keep up with demand. However, that should never come at the expense of customer service or proper meat preparation. A skilled butcher knows that cutting meat to the customer’s specifications is a fundamental part of the job, yet it seems like management does not prioritize this level of service. When a customer requests specific cuts—such as particular flaps of meat—those requests should be respected and fulfilled to the best of the butcher’s ability. Beyond service, consistency in meat quality is equally important. I spent over $200 on what was advertised as "prime" ranchera, yet what I received was a mix of prime and choice cuts with excessive fat. Upon trimming, we weighed 12 ounces of fat trimming, and that was before even going through the remaining 3-4 pounds of meat. Given how busy this estab
